Stretches for Achy Lower Back/Tight Hip Flexors

A majority of us are sitting allll day. Whether we're at work or playing with kids, our bodies get tight in this position. Especially our hip flexors, back, shoulders and neck. Relieve some ache while watching TV or playing with the kids on the floor with these 2 ahhhhh-mazing simple moves.

The 'Worlds Greatest' stretch is an absolute must add to your stretching routine....or a reason to START stretching. It opens up your quads and hip flexors that get uber tight from sitting all day at work or with kids.

And I'm not going to sugar coat it, it can 'hurt' like a b!$%# to open up your hip flexors and groin. But doing them every day will increase your flexibility, mobility, and decrease your aches.

Remember, elderly people always wish two things: they were more fit throughout their lives and they had more flexibility. And maybe the wish they had seen more of the world...but that doesn't apply here. :)

Next is what I call '4 stretch' and it's actually a stretch that can be done laying, sitting on the floor, sitting in a chair, or standing. Woo versatility!

Lastly is another variation of '4 stretch' where rotation adds more stretch and helps increase mobility. Like when you look over your shoulder to your blind spot while driving.
